JetBlue Airways on Thursday launched its inaugural evening flight from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas.
Introductory fares for the scheduled one-hour-and-20-minute flight will begin at under $120 round trip with taxes included, said Nannette Ford, director of reservation support operations for the New York-based airline.
The evening nonstop flight will depart at 7:55 p.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 8:15 p.m. Pacific time, she said. The first daily flight, which includes a connection, departs Salt Lake City at 8:40 a.m. arriving in Las Vegas at 2 p.m. local time.
Ford said JetBlue will also add a second nonstop flight to San Diego beginning May 22. The evening flight would leave Salt Lake City at 5:55 p.m., arriving in San Diego at 6:25 p.m. The first daily flight departs Salt Lake International Airport at 10:25 a.m., arriving in San Diego at 11:15 a.m.
The evening flight will not run on Wednesdays and will be seasonal, ending in November, she said.
