Omniture reports loss has widened to $12.9 million

Omniture Inc., the Orem-based maker of software that helps businesses manage online data, said its first-quarter loss widened to $12.9 million.

The net loss of 19 cents a share compared with a loss of $2.45 million, or 5 cents, in the same period a year earlier, the company said Wednesday in a statement distributed by Market Wire. Analysts had predicted a loss of 13 cents a share.
