Spama-not: The Monty Python musical "Spamalot" is set to close its Las Vegas production, currently starring John O' Hurly as King Arthur, in July If you're interested in going, log on to www.wynnlasvegas.com. Tickets range in price from $69-$179.
Fiddle-dee-dee: Remember "Gone With the Wind the Musical" from last week? Well talk about disappointing. Jill Paice, who plays Scarlett O'Hara, has been out with a throat infection. She did opening night and hasn't been able to sing since. She is supposed to be back Saturday night.
Blazing Brooks: And speaking of Mel Brooks ... he may be bringing "Blazing Saddles" to the Great White Way. Either this is best news you've heard, or the scariest (depending on how you feel about the infamous camp-fire scene). Brooks wants to regroup after getting "Frankenstein" on his feet, but that's rumored to be his next project. Insert bean jokes here.
