Thank you for the favorable article about nuclear energy. Nuclear energy is the cleanest, cheapest alternative to meet our energy needs and reduce dependence on oil and other carbon-producing forms of energy. Nuclear waste can be recycled, as France, Russia, Canada and Britain are doing.
France has produced 80 percent of its electricity with nuclear power for the last 25 years and stores all of its nuclear waste in a single room at Le Havre.
It takes years to build a nuclear plant. A start must be made now.
