The Thai/Lao New Year Celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Wat Dhammagunaram Buddhist Temple, 644 E. 1000 North, Layton.
The celebration will include a food fair, Miss Songkran Contest, children's choir, classical dance, music, Taiko drums, Thai kickboxing and other martial arts demonstrations. Admission is free.
