Students to compete in Moab Envirothon

High school students from all over Utah will converge on Moab April 25-26 for the Utah Envirothon, the state's largest natural resource competition.

Five-member teams will demonstrate their knowledge of soils and land use, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife and current environmental issues.

The winning team will receive a $1,000 scholarship to Utah State University's College of Natural Resources and a chance to compete at the national level in Arizona July 28-Aug. 3 for more than $100,000 awarded to the top 10 teams.
