Huntsman will have shoulder surgery Wednesday and spend two months with his right arm in a sling.
Huntsman had surgery last summer on his rotator cuff, but it apparently didn't improve as expected.
Spokeswoman Lisa Roskelley says Huntsman is "much more committed" to following his doctor's orders.
