Miller out for season

Sacramento center Brad Miller will miss the final five games of the Kings' season with a stress fracture in his left leg and a bone chip in his right elbow.

HALL OF FAME

Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, coach Pat Riley and four others have been elected to basketball's Hall of Fame. Also among the Class of 2008 are Adrian Dantley, coach Cathy Rush, broadcaster Dick Vitale and NBA team owner Bill Davidson. Induction is Sept. 4-6 in Springfield, Mass., home of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

ON THE MEND

Clippers guard Shaun Livingston's surgically repaired left knee is improving and he will be allowed to pick up the intensity of his oncourt workouts. Livingston hasn't played since injuring his knee in the first quarter of a game between the Clippers and Charlotte Bobcats on Feb. 26, 2007.
