PAGE, Ariz. Firefighters rescued an unconscious person from a burning dormitory near Lake Powell on Sunday.
The fire, which started around 8 p.m., destroyed the building, dormitory housing for 21 Aramark/Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas employees, according to a statement from Glen Canyon Park officials.
All but one of the employees were immediately accounted for, and firefighters found the missing employee unconscious in the building. The employee was taken by ambulance to Page Hospital for smoke inhalation and later flown to Flagstaff Medical Center.
No information or updated condition was available on the employee Monday.
Residents displaced by the fire have been relocated to other dormitories in the area.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
