U.S. Synthetic Corp., an Orem-based provider of polycrystalline diamond cutters for oil and gas exploration, said it has acquired Brady's Mining & Construction Supply Co.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

St. Louis-based Brady manufactures diamond roof-drill bits and support products specifically designed for underground mining operations.

"We believe that U.S. Synthetic is the perfect company to support the ongoing needs of our mining customers — delivering the advanced drilling technology they need to succeed now and in the future," said William Brady, founder and president of Brady's Mining and Construction Supply.
