LNR Property Corp.'s Commercial Property Group said Friday that construction is complete on its first building in the 160-acre, 3.5 million-square-foot Bangerter Crossing Business Park in Salt Lake City.
The company said the first building will contain 244,300 square feet. A second 162,866-square-foot building is scheduled for occupancy in August 2008. Construction on a third building with 300,000 square feet is scheduled to commence this summer.
Throughout the project, the company is using more than 52,000 cubic yards of concrete recycled from Salt Lake City International Airport's runways. The recycled concrete will be used in Bangerter Crossing's building pads and roadways but not for new wall construction.
