Woman has a seizure after alleged assault

PROVO — An intoxicated 57-year-old Provo man scared his adult female neighbor enough during his alleged sexual assault that it sent her into a seizure, a 4th District Court affidavit stated.

Paramedics treated the woman for her seizure after the incident late Wednesday night. Then police arrested and booked the man, 57, into the Utah County Jail for investigation of forcible sex abuse, according to jail documents.

The man fondled the woman while asking for sex, an officer stated in his report.The man, who police said "smelled of booze and exhibited slurred speech and impaired balance," is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bail.
