Deer Valley closing April 13 for winter season; prepping for summer recreation

Deer Valley officials have announced the resort will close for the winter ski season on Sunday, April 13. The resort will be open daily for summer recreation beginning June 13 through Labor Day, and on weekends only through Sept. 14 (conditions permitting).

Summer recreation opportunities include more than 55 miles of lift-served mountain biking and hiking as well as scenic chairlift rides.

The Silver Lake Express chairlift will operate through the summer season, and dining will be available at the Royal Street Cafe. The cafe will be open June 13 through Labor Day, serving lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
