The People with AIDS Coalition of Utah will hold its annual fashion show fundraiser Saturday, July 12, at the Grand Hall at the Depot, 400 W. South Temple in Salt Lake City.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The social and appetizers begin at 6 p.m., while the fashion show starts at 7 p.m. Silent auction closes at 9 p.m.

I found that out last week. In search of a Memorial Day column, I wandered into Memory Grove (who said columnists can't grasp the obvious?) and as I walked by the various war monuments, I came upon the best-looking structure there: the Meditation Chapel, which might have been transplanted straight from Athens.
