Utah's child health indicators Utah's child health indicators, according to the Trust for America's Health report:

• 5.6 percent overweight, high school (2005)

• 8.5 percent age 10-17 overweight (2004)

• 7.4 percent of high school students smoke (2006)

• 15 percent of children are uninsured (2006)

• 17.2 percent high school students have asthma (2005)

• 22 percent of children 19-35 months have not had all their immunizations

• 4.5 infant mortality per 1,000 live births (2005)

• 6.9 percent low birth weight (2006)
