SCERA sets auditions for summer musicals

OREM — SCERA announces auditions for its upcoming summer musicals: "The King & I," "Footloose: The Musical" and the world premiere of a new stage production of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice."
All auditions will be held at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 S. State. All auditioners should prepare to sing 16 measures of a song of their choice. An accompanist or CD player will be provided.

• "The King & I" — Auditions for children and adults ages 8 and older will be held April 15 and 16 from 7-10 p.m. Runs June 6-21.

• "Footloose: The Musical" — Auditions for ages 14 and older will be held April 10 and 11 from 7-9 p.m. A dance audition will be held April 14 at 7 p.m. for those interested in the dance ensemble. Runs July 5-19.

• "Pride and Prejudice" — Auditions for ages 16 and older will be April 22 and 23 from 7-9 p.m. Runs Aug. 1-16 at SCERA; Aug. 19-22 at BYU Education Week.
