A man was in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle while racing down Bangerter Highway, police say.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. near 110th South.
"Two motorcycles were racing down the highway, swerving in and out of traffic," said South Jordan police Sgt. Dennis Power. "One of them lost control and flew off his motorcycle into a field."
The second motorcyclist did not stay at the scene, police said. The man, who was in his early 20s, talked to officers when they arrived. He was flown to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Power said.
