Provo, Ogden among leaders in 'Best Places for Business'

Two Utah cities are in the top 25 on Forbes' list of the "Best Places for Business and Careers."

Provo was ranked 11th and Ogden was 23rd in the Forbes annual ranking, released this month.

Provo's components included a 75th ranking for cost of doing business, eighth place for job growth and 30th for educational attainment. Ogden was 68th-ranked for cost of doing business, 29th for job growth and 94th for educational attainment.

Salt Lake City was 82nd overall, with a 104th-place ranking for cost of doing business, 26th for job growth and 63rd for educational attainment.

Raleigh, N.C., earned the top honors, followed by Boise; Fort Collins, Colo.; Des Moines, Iowa; and Lexington, Ky.
