KELSEY GRIFFIN, NEBRASKA: Griffin tied a career-high with 26 points for the eighth-seeded Cornhuskers. She went 10-for-17 from the field.

The decoy

Oklahoma star Courtney Paris was heavily guarded, so Sooners coach Sherri Coale decided to use the 6-foot-4 power forward as a decoy by pulling her away from the basket to create driving lanes. Courtney Paris only took five shots. "We moved her so we could at least have the basket as an option," Coale said. It worked as five Sooners had seven points or more to beat Illinois State.

No Parker? No problem

Tennessee got a surprise preview of what life without Candace Parker will look like next season. All indications are the future still appears to be pretty darn good. Despite having Parker for just 18 minutes, the Volunteers rolled over Oral Roberts.
