Two men were charged Monday in unrelated stabbings last week in Salt Lake County.
On Wednesday, an 18-year-old West Valley man stabbed his 15-year-old friend twice in the side near 3700 S. Highlander (6885 West), according to charges filed in 3rd District Court.
The man faces charges of aggravated assault, a second-degree felony.
On Thursday, a 53-year-old Salt Lake man stabbed another man in the back with a pocket knife after an argument at 210 S. Rio Grande (455 West), according to charges filed in 3rd District Court. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The 53-year-old faces a charge of second-degree felony aggravated assault.
