Community Development Corporation of Utah plans to hold classes for prospective homebuyers to help them increase their likelihood of successful homeownership and reduce mortgage problems.
The daylong classes will be offered Wednesdays, with day or evening options. The evening classes go from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be held April 2 and 9, May 7 and 14, June 4 and 11, and July 9 and 16. The daytime classes go from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be held March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25 and July 30.
Classes conducted in Spanish will be held on two Thursdays, June 12 and 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A $10 fee is required for the classes, and people interested in attending should preregister by calling the corporation at 801-994-7222.
The corporation is a nonprofit group that works throughout the state to foster development of affordable housing and help people achieve homeownership.
