FILLMORE — The Millard County Sheriff's Office is urging residents not to call 911 during a planned power outage.

Rocky Mountain Power is scheduled to turn off the power for the town of Fillmore and surrounding areas beginning at 11:30 p.m. on March 20, the sheriff's office said in a statement. The outage is scheduled to last approximately four hours.

"Please do not contact the sheriff's office to inquire when power will be restored as office staff is not generally notified by the utility," the sheriff's office said in a statement. The Millard County Sheriff is telling residents to call 1-877-LITESOUT.
