Maizy is a pretty and petite 2-year-old female black smoke and white domestic longhair. She and her sister were thrown out of a box near the freeway in Magna. Because of that, Maizy was shy at first, but now she's sweet and affectionate and very ready to be adopted into a new home now. Her adoption fee is $65.
Frankie is a friendly and smart 6-year-old male pointer mix. He already knows how to sit on command and he's gentle with treats and loves belly rubs. His adoption fee is $95
Maizy hopes that she will spend the rest of her life as a strictly indoor cat, so she will have lots of quality time with her new family, and she will never again get lost or be exposed to the many dangers that shorten the lives of outdoor cats. A cat that lives indoors can easily live to be 15 to 20 years old, while many outdoor cats fall prey to predators, poisons, vehicles and, sadly, cruel people. Cats who live indoors are also prevented from causing problems with the neighbors, as outdoor cats often wander and create neighborhood nuisances. Cats can get plenty of exercise with toys and playtime in the house.
Please make Maizy your new feline family member, or come fall in love with Frankie at Salt Lake County Animal Services, 511 W. 3900 South, or call 269-7499. And view other animals online at www.slcoanimalservices.org.
