AMERICAN FORK Mayor Heber Thompson recently gave new assignments to the members of the City Council to oversee during the course of the year.
Councilmember Heidi Rodeback is a liaison for the finance committee as well as retaining her responsibilities as an adviser of the library, arts council, public relations and economic development.
Councilman Dale Gunther will be over transportation and continue as a liaison for the several committees, including the Chamber of Commerce, Downtown American Fork and Timpanogos Special Service District.
Councilman Shirl LeBaron kept his responsibilities as the adviser of the city attorney and fitness and recreation center. He also works with the Youth Council and the city golf course.
Councilman Ricky Storrs will be over public works, the senior citizens, neighborhood improvement and the youth court.
Councilmember Sherry Kramer is over the planning department, cemetery, parks and trails, Neighbors in Action and American Fork Irrigation Co.
