Raser Technologies Inc. this week said it has started development of two additional geothermal projects, including a plant that will be the company's second in Utah.
The additions bring the Provo-based company's total development projects to seven. Each of the two new projects in Utah and Oregon are for 10 megawatts.
Raser also said Wednesday that it is negotiating with several utilities with respect to agreements to purchase a total of 140 megawatts of power. The company said it expects to complete the negotiations this year.
