The International Trade and Diplomacy Office of the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Chilean Economic Development Agency will present a seminar about business and mining issues in Chile from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 S. West Temple.
Topics include a legal framework and business environment for foreign investors, Chile as a business platform for mining projects and environmental issues, work safety and quality in underground mining, "building bridges between Utah and Chile," and loans and other offers by the government to new investors.
