The House has passed a bill creating legislative task forces to study immigration and education issues this summer, and also to authorize additional meetings for some interim committees.
Under HB405, a total of $185,000 would be allocated to pay for the costs of holding the task force and meetings, including the costs of legislative and staff time. The measure now moves to the Senate for approval.
