Brigham Young University's undergraduate business programs ranked seventh overall and first among recruiters in BusinessWeek magazine's annual ranking of U.S. undergraduate business programs.
The magazine's survey, released Thursday, says students like the Marriott School's emphasis on producing successful and ethical business leaders.
The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School ranked No. 1 overall, followed by No. 2 University of Virginia, No. 3 University Notre Dame, No. 4 Cornell University, No. 5 Emory University and No. 6 University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
Only 127 colleges met BusinessWeek's criteria to be considered for the rankings. Schools had to be accredited and meet certain criteria for size, age, test scores and grade-point average for business majors and the number of full-time tenured faculty.
Complete rankings of the best undergraduate business schools are available in the March 10 issue of BusinessWeek, on newsstands Monday.
