Online registration is open for the fifth annual Utah Tourism Conference, set for May 12-14 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 S. West Temple.
The conference is sponsored by the Utah Office of Tourism and the Utah Tourism Industry Coalition.
Roger Dow, president and chief executive officer of the Travel Industry Association will speak at the conference about the power of the travel industry.
Other topics to be presented at the conference are an economic outlook for Utah tourism, "green" tourism, Local First Utah, hospitality, scenic byways, and a marketing and advertising update from the Utah Office of Tourism.
Nominations are also being accepted for the Utah Tourism Hall of Fame Awards that will be presented at the closing luncheon.
