PLEASANT GROVE — The Writer's Studio of Utah will present a creative writing workshop series geared to youths 11 to 17 years old, March 15 from 3-5 p.m. at the Pleasant Springs apartments clubhouse, 583 S. 900 West.
The children will meet in small groups led by a studio-trained teaching artist and volunteer mentors in a comfortable, safe and welcoming setting.

I found that out last week. In search of a Memorial Day column, I wandered into Memory Grove (who said columnists can't grasp the obvious?) and as I walked by the various war monuments, I came upon the best-looking structure there: the Meditation Chapel, which might have been transplanted straight from Athens.
