Furniture maker La-Z-Boy Inc., based in Michigan and with about 1,000 workers at a manufacturing plant in Tremonton, on Tuesday reported net income of $9.5 million, or 18 cents per share, for the fiscal third quarter ended Jan. 26. That compares with a net loss of $7.8 million, or 15 cents per share, for the same quarter a year earlier.
Sales totaled $373.1 million, down from $404.8 million in the prior-year quarter.
