The SLC Film Center is sponsoring a free advance screening of James Carroll's "Constantine's Sword" a film by Oren Jacoby, 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall, Westminster College, 1840 S. 1300 East.
The film is the story of James Carroll, a Roman Catholic on a journey to confront his past and uncover the roots of religiously inspired violence and war.
Carroll, a New York Times best-selling author of "Constantine's Sword: The Church and the Jews: A History," will be at the screening.
