ST. GEORGE — Police made two back-to-back impaired driving arrests in the drive-through of a fast-food restaurant.

Officers were called to a Del Taco restaurant on Sunset Boulevard Feb. 11 after a car ran into the building. Police arrested a 50-year-old man on investigation of DUI and making threats to the officers as he was being booked into jail.

Officers were quickly called back to Del Taco when the driver of the next car in line also showed signs of impairment. Police said the 25-year-old man had trouble keeping his eyes open and his head upright.

St. George police said drug paraphernalia was found in the man's car. He was also booked into the Purgatory Jail.
