More then 60 regional employers will be seeking to hire additional staff during Dixie State College's annual employment fair Thursday.
Four-year graduates, along with students who have associate degrees or certificates are urged to attend. Businesses such as Aramark, Intermountain Healthcare, Best Buy, and various military and law-enforcement groups are looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.
Prospective employers will be available to answer questions as well as hand out promotional items and materials. A free pizza lunch will be served throughout the day as well.
"With the economy at its present state, it has become a competitive job market again," said Kathy Kinney, director of Dixie's Career Center and employment services.
She recommends students come with resumes, ready to be interviewed.
The fair will be in the Gardner Center Ballroom from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Dixie's Career Center at 435-652-7737.
