AMERICAN FORK The American Fork Main Street Board has selected Evan Brady as its 2008 president.
Brady will work with the Main Street Board and the American Fork City Council to help ensure that downtown American Fork remains a viable arts and business community.
Another of the board's goals is to help Main Street be ready for the increased traffic that could be caused by the expansion of I-15. It hopes to make the traffic a benefit for business owners and residents alike.
Brady has more than 25 years of experience with the Main Street Board. He owned The Yogurt Parlor on Main Street for 20 years. Brady and his wife have lived in American Fork for more than 50 years.
