Though they never trailed in the game, the Jazz were ahead by only two — 49-47 — at halftime. And when Nick Collison scored with a layup early in the third quarter, Seattle and Utah were tied at 67.

But Boozer answered Collison with two free throws on the other end, and the Jazz — who went into the fourth quarter up eight at 81-73 — led the rest of the way.

The pull-away stretch: an 8-1 Jazz run in which Boozer hit a jumper, Matt Harpring scored inside on a feed by Boozer, Brewer converted two free throws and Harpring knocked down a jumper to make it 79-71 Utah.

Two free throws from Okur gave the Jazz an 85-75 advantage, and their lead never dipped below double digits after that.

"I'm glad (Price) let it bounce a couple times when I gave it to him," Boozer joked.

"More importantly, seriously," he added, "we played good in the fourth-quarter stretch to have a good taste in our mouth going into the All-Star break."

NOTES: Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko finished with eight points, three rebounds and just one assist. "He's had a toe that's been bothering him," Sloan said of a previously undisclosed injury, "but maybe the rest will give him a chance to recover a bit." ... Brewer's 16 points came in his first game back after missing two with a bruised tailbone. "It was good to see him back on the floor," Sloan said. ... The Jazz and Sonics made it through the game's first six minutes and 58 seconds without a foul being called on either team.
