Chinese science group to hold '08 convention

The Chinese Association for Science and Technology in Utah will hold its 2008 annual convention Saturday at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

This year's convention will focus on the collaboration of the United States and China in science, technology, education and economic development. More than 20 Chinese government officials are scheduled to attend.

The nonprofit association's mission is to build relationships and exchange programs between China and the United States, as well as promote traditional Chinese culture.
