Iomega Corp., which has about 125 employees in Utah, on Tuesday reported net income of $6.5 million, or 12 cents per share, for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. That compares with $4.9 million, or 9 cents per share, for the year-earlier quarter.
Revenue for the San Diego-based company totaled $120.6 million, up from $76.2 million in the same quarter last year.
For the full year 2007, Iomega reported net income of $10.1 million, or 18 cents per share. That compares with a net loss of $8.8 million, or 17 cents per share, for 2006. Revenue totaled $336.6 million, up from $229.5 million in 2006.
Iomega produces data-storage and network-security products.
