Snow reloads with 22; D-II Dixie adds just 10

The Dixie State and Snow College football programs both reloaded with a bunch of Utah players during this week's official signing period.

The Badgers, who finished 11-1 and ranked third nationally after losing in The Top of the Mountains Bowl, added 20 Utahns and 22 total players to their roster.

"We wanted to add talent at every position. We were able to do accomplish that," said Snow coach Steve Coburn.

"Utah players recognize this program is committed to them academically and athletically, and because of this we have continued to add tremendous young men to our program."

The Rebels, meanwhile, added eight Beehive State football players. Dixie State, which is still transitioning from being a junior college program, didn't have any seniors on its squad last year, so it was only able to add 10 new student-athletes to its roster.
