The 23rd annual winter festival will be held over Presidents Day weekend Feb. 16 to 18 at Ruby's Inn near Bryce Canyon National Park.
And unlike past years, "The snow is terrific," said Jean Seiler, marketing director for Ruby's Inn. "We haven't seen so much snow in a long time, and the cross country ski tracks are in prime condition."
There will be free clinics, tours and demos held throughout the weekend, including yoga, archery, kayaking clinics, cross country ski and snowshoe tours, photography and crafts for kids. Many of the tours and clinics are presented by businesses from the Salt Lake area, including Wasatch Touring, REI, Hoyt, Easton and Pictureline.
Bryce Canyon National Park will conduct ranger-guided snowshoe tours and geology talks. Dixie National Forest will lead a winter nature snowshoe hike.
