HOLLADAY — The Holladay Arts Council plans to present a series of original Arnold Friberg paintings in the basement of City Hall as part of its inaugural show.

The show will kick off with a reception Friday from 6-9 p.m. at 4580 S. 2300 East in Holladay. The oil paintings will be on display Saturday evening and during business hours Monday through Wednesday.

The display is a showcase of works by Holladay residents, said city spokeswoman Brandy King.

The free event is open to the public.
