Pilar Pobil, author and artist, will be signing her book "My Kitchen Table: Sketches From My Life," from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, during the Valentine's Day sale at the University of Utah campus store.
Author Robert Steensma will be signing copies of his book "Wallace Stegner's Salt Lake City" from 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Utah Capitol store, room 110 in the renovated Utah Capitol.
Steensma has searched through archival photographs, quotations from Stegner's writings and interpretive essays in order to re-create the Salt Lake City of the 1920s and 1930s, the city of Stegner's youth and young adulthood. This is a book that will appeal to all who have been moved by Stegner's novels, nonfiction or his appeals for conservation.
