• Drs. Michael W. Johnson, Jeffrey G. Erickson and James Gardiner have joined Intermountain Medical Group. Johnson has opened a practice with the Orthopedic Specialty Group at the Alta View campus. He will practice general orthopedics with an emphasis on joint replacement and trauma. He previously spent five years in a private practice in Portland, Ore., and was chairman of the orthopedics division at a Portland hospital. Johnson's education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Erickson has opened a pediatric practice at Mountain View Pediatrics. He previously was chief resident in pediatrics at a medical center in Utah and at an urgent-care clinic in Salt Lake City. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Gardiner has joined the Orthopedics Specialty Group, opening his practice at LDS Campus Orthopedics. Gardiner has taught at the University of Kentucky and for the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He has also served as team physician for the Seattle Mariners during spring training and several other minor league, college and high school teams. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.
• Michael Bennett has joined Orchard Securities as national accounts manager. Bennett has been involved in the real estate and financial industries and started three portfolio lending institutions. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.
• Brian Dunn has been appointed vice president of business development at CHG Healthcare Services. Dunn will be responsible for leading the company's acquisition efforts as well as other corporate business development opportunities. He has more than 20 years of experience in the health-care industry. Prior to joining CHG Healthcare, Dunn was president of the Arizona market for a national hospital operator and has been a hospital chief executive officer in Utah, California and Tennessee. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.
