Dedication of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' temple in Rexburg, Idaho previously scheduled for Sunday will be delayed one week, according to church spokesman Rob Howell.
The delay comes after the death of LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley, whose funeral is Saturday.
The Rexburg Temple will be the church's 125th worldwide. It is adjacent to the campus of Brigham Young University-Idaho (formerly Ricks College) and will serve some 47,000 LDS Church members in the area, including students.
