Deer Valley's Stein Eriksen Lodge on Monday became the first Utah hotel property to receive the Mobil Travel Guide's Five Star award.
The lodge is one of only four new Five Star properties announced by Mobil. The other three hotel properties making the list for the first time are the Boston Harbor Hotel, The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island in South Carolina, and the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Stein Eriksen Lodge is also home to the Glitretind restaurant, rated Four Star by Mobil, and the Four-Star Spa at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.
The Mobil Travel Guide began rating hotel, restaurant, and spa properties in 1958, based on scores of standardized criteria. For more information visit www.mobiltravelguide.com.
