OGDEN No one was injured in a fire that destroyed the roof of a home on 13th Street Thursday morning.
The fire was first noticed around 10:30 a.m. when neighbors spotted smoke coming from the home at 456 13th St.
No one was home at the time, and firefighters managed to rescue two dogs inside the burning home.
The fire started in the attic of the home, Ogden deputy fire chief Chad Tucker reported. Officials estimated about $80,000 in damage.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation Thursday night.
