Some Florida voters are totally "comMITTed" to giving former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney a victory in the Sunshine State's Republican primary next Tuesday — at least judging to a few homemade signs at a pre-debate rally Thursday.

Gettin around

Mary Romney, wife of youngest Romney brother Craig, said her son Parker Mitt is only 21 months old but has already been to 24 states on the campaign trail so far.

Warmer welcome

"We're liking Florida weather the best," Mary Romney told a crowd of about 150 supporters. It was at least 70 degrees in south Florida Thursday, with palm trees and the beach a far cry from the snow drifts and frosty temperatures of earlier primaries and caucuses in Iowa, New Hampshire and Michigan.

Gettin' around II

Romney has a packed campaign schedule for Florida today, including stops in Miami, Pensacola and St. Petersburg. Later, he'll be hitting West Palm Beach, Fort Meyers, Orlando, Panama City and Jacksonville leading up to next Tuesday's primary election via airplane or bus.
