Korver starting to find his groove with Jazz

So far, Korver is shooting 42.9 percent from the field with the Jazz, a smidgen above his career average of 41.9.
But while the ex-Sixer has shown he's both willing to pass the ball and can post up on occasion, Korver's billed as chiefly a 3-point shooter and his 26.5 percent success rate from behind the long-distance line admittedly is far off par.
"I haven't shot the ball very well yet, and I don't feel like I've played as well as I'm capable of playing," said Korver, a career 40.6 percent 3-point shooter. "But I feel like I'm getting more comfortable. I feel good about things. I feel like I'm getting more settled into the offense, and the defense, too."
No wonder Sloan seems to have no worries whatsoever when the question concerns Korver.
"He's obviously pressing sometimes to make shots and that will come, too, because he works at it," the Jazz coach said.
"I think he'll be better," Sloan added, "as time goes on, as he gets a little bit more comfortable with what we're doing."
And, presumably, as one old habit after another falls by the wayside.
