ROY (AP) The Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire is looking for a few good minstrels.
Volunteers who can sing, play a musical instrument, juggle or have any other talent with a Renaissance or medieval theme are welcome. The festival will have jousting, belly dancers, puppet shows and food vendors all wearing the garb of yore and partying like it's 1499.
The annual festival will be held in May. The second round of auditions is scheduled for Saturday.
Organizers say people to play criers and peasants are also needed and experience is not necessary.
