Sundance encounters

"Don't you know who I am?" That question gets phrased now and then at festival. Deseret Morning News reporter Stephen Speckman could have used a little help Friday outside of a celebrity gift lounge. A scruffy looking guy walked out with a pretty girl, both toting bags full of free stuff. Speckman jokingly suggested to the man that he go in for more swag. When he asked the man if he was in a Sundance film, he replied that his band was in town to play. As he walked away, Speckman asked what band. The young man replied, "Maroon 5." That Speckman, what a moron squared.
